I read the dinosaurs look more realistic in the 1993 film than the trailer for Jurassic World (2015), which is difficult to understand how that can happen. Should be the opposite. Glad you enjoyed rewatching it!
I’d give The Theory of Everything a 6 or 7 for the strong performances, but it was oscar-baity, and I felt the story dumbed down his achievements.
I haven’t seen the Jurassic World trailer, but that’s sad if true. I will say that Jurassic Park holds up very well — the dinosaurs still look great!
I’m pretty much in agreement with you on The Theory of Everything. The performances were great, but the movie felt lacking otherwise. I felt like I didn’t actually learn anything about Stephen Hawking.
Nice round-up Eric. I really enjoyed Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, mores than the final few seasons of 30 Rock. And Louie’s fourth season was pretty superb.
Jurassic Park is such a classic film for me. One of the first I actually remember seeing in the cinema. The FX stil hold up SO well today. Astonishing!
Hi Eric, how’ve you been man? I’ll be seeing Jurassic World next week, and so I rewatched the first Jurassic Park movie a few months ago. Still loved it, the theme song by John Williams is still one of the best ever. It just fits the film so well!
Hey Ruth! I’ve been doing pretty good, just been an even busier summer than expected. How have you been? I finally caught up on the first two Jurassic Park sequels recently — both were major steps down but still fun — and I’m hoping to see Jurassic World soon. Definitely agree on the first one still being great!

The 8/10 for Jurassic Park makes my inner kid sad :-p
Hey, an 8 is still great! 🙂

I think Unbreakable has a lot of promise. I have a feeling the second season will be even better.

I know, right?! It looks just as good now as it did back then. Still a really fun film, too.
