Glad you managed to watch After the Wedding, and liked it, probably my favorite Susanne Bier film. It’s actually in my top 100.
In case you’re interested, my 2nd fav Bier film is Brothers (2004). I haven’t seen the US remake from 2009. The original has a better reputation.

    • Eric says:

Thanks for the recommendation! This is the first film I’ve seen from Bier. I remember seeing the Brothers remake years ago and liking it so I’m curious to see the original sometime.

Lucy thought it was smarter than it actually was, but I had fun with it. I’ve been meaning to watch Ex Machina but haven’t watched it yet. Nice round-up man.

    • Eric says:

Yeah, Lucy was fun enough for what it was, though ironically it felt like my IQ was lowering while watching it. 😀

Ex Machina, though, is great! I think you’ll dig it.

Glad you love Ex Machina too, I actually just mentioned Vikander in my Five of the Fifth today as one of my fave female performers of 2015. Oh I’ve been meaning to check out After the Wedding for a while, I better get to that soon. Great recap here Eric, glad you still have time to blog a bit 🙂
